How can I add videos to my publication pages?

Log into your Publisher account by visiting the login page at: http://www.createmagazines.com/login.php .

On this page you will see Four fields:

  1. Type
  2. User name
  3. Password
  4. Login.

 

 

If you not already registered at CreateMagazines, you can do so on registration page http://www.createmagazines.com/register.php In the type field Click Publisher.

 

Enter your user name and password in the text field provided and Click Login. Once you Log into your publisher account, you will see CreateMagazine's publisher control panel.

 

Click Videos button from the top menu to open Videos page which lists all your uploaded videos. Click Upload Video button on this page to open videos upload page.

On this page provide a Title for the Video you want to upload and then select the video file you want to upload.

To select a video file for uploading Click Browse button and browse to Select the video file from your local computer. Click Upload button next to upload this video file which would start file upload and once finished would automatically convert and optimize your uploaded video file to be used in your publications. Some of the common video file formats that you can upload are listed as follow:

  • MPEG
  • AVI
  • MOV
  • FLV
  • VOB
  • MPG
  • WMV etc.

 

To add any of your uploaded videos to your publications Click Publications button from the top menu to open My Publications page. Click edit button next to the publication to which you want to add a video from the list of publications. This would open Edit Publication page which would have a full listed view of this publications pages with options to edit that page, delete that page, add a Hotspot to that page or add a Video to that page.

 

To add a video click Video button next to the page you want to add the video to.

 

This would open selected page in a separate window. On the upper control bar of the window you will see a drop-down containing all the videos you have successfully uploaded to your account. Select video by clicking on the Drop-down and selecting the video title you want to add. Click on the Add Video (besides the Drop-down for selecting video).

 

It will place a small video player which you can drag and position on the publication page where you want it to be. Additionally you can also resize the video here according to your choice by using the resize handlers on this player. Once you have finished adjusting video player as per your preference, click on the checkbox for Autoplay on the Upper control bar of the window to have autoplay turned on or off when your readers are viewing this publication page.

 

Choose true to turn on auto play or false if you don't want to turn on autoplay and would only like the video to be played if your readers click the play button on the video player. Click save on the top menu to save changes you have made to your publication. You can add as many number of videos you like to your publications and there are no limitations.
