- Accurate location display of multiple vehicles in real time on map.
- Playback feature that allowed user to view location history of complete path, vehicle has covered in the given range.
- Creating geofence or a virtual boundary for each vehicle or fleet and sending alerts when vehicle enters and leaves Geofence area.

Solution
- Location tracking functionality achieved through Google Maps API
- Managing large database of tracking records updated every second for each vehicle and use database indexing for optimizing query performance.
- eCharts customized to display graphs.
- Sudden accelerations, sudden brakes, night driving, etc were some of the predefined set parameters to determine driver’s behaviour.
Results
An application delivered to client which includes features like Live tracking of vehicles, trip management, back tracking of vehicles, geofencing, reporting system (drivers, vehicle, trips, etc.), user management, etc.
